Can you name the top 100 songs ever, according to Rolling Stone magazine?
I certainly couldn't. It's funny how when you have a time limit suddenly even naming enormously famous songs completely escapes you. I'm more than au fait with The Beatles, but goddamit the titles just weren't coming to mind. Got about 60 first time out, 80 on the second attempt, so not bad but I definitely hoped for better than that.
And these sort of polls/lists always stir people's desire to debate their content, so take it with a pinch of salt - yes it's biased towards the 60s and 70s, and yes there are probably a few too many American acts on there, but what the hell, it's a few minutes of fun for a dreary friday.
