Young Offenders' Institute - October

Another good YOI last night, with spookiness all round on Halloween.

I'm afraid some of the other guys playing records were more switched on than me and managed to get some of that black magic feel into their set, but I just played it pretty straight (except perhaps the first track....)

Hawkwind - You Shouldn't Do That
TV On The Radio - Halfway Home
Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill
The Cure - Boys Don't Cry
The Jezebelles - Tainted Love
Sly & The Family Stone - Dance To The Music
Muddy Waters - I'm Ready
Fleetwood Mac - Oh Well (Part 1)
Baby Huey - Mama Get Yourself Together
Rolling Stones - Honky Tonk Women
Frijid Pink - Drivin' Blues
Blondie - Atomic
Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
Queen - Don't Try Suicide
Bo Diddley - Nursery Rhyme
Diana Ross & The Supremes with The Temptations - The Weight
Edwin Starr & Slimmy Taylor - War (Reggae Version)
The Detroit Spinners - Rubberband Man (Part 1)
The Mohawks - The Champ
Dangerdoom - Old School
Beastie Boys - Super Disco Breakin'
Beck - Soul Of A Man
Bob Dylan - Tangled Up In Blue
Led Zeppelin - Misty Mountain Hop
Kiss - 2000 Man
The Jam - Start!
Cage The Elephant - In One Ear

I played the early slot so not a whole lot of dancin' goin' on, but I hope if you were there you heard some things you liked...see you next month (November 28th).
