For a long time, this beautiful sleeve hung in a frame in my hall, such was its appeal to me.
It's called You're So Beautiful and the decision to adorn the record with a really simple, yet very lovely, image of a calm beach was a very astute one. Lots of sleeves of records about love seem to go out of their way to be so symbolic that they go too far, but the secret to the success here is simplicity. And there really isn't a lot more to say about this - a work of art in itself, which is what this series of posts is all about.
