Video - Sum 41 do Metallica

Sum 41 have shot up in my estimation with a good live workout of a few Metallica numbers at the Hoodwink festival in the US.

I've just had a root around online and it turns out that the Hoodwink festival is kind of a cool concept - a bunch of bands perform sets of music of other bands. So this Sum 41 set wasn't just a few covers for fun, it was the whole point of the show.

Check out the rest of the line-up here. The Ataris doing The Misfits, Anti-Flag doing The Clash, The Cab (?!?) doing Queen. Some random bands who I'm not familiar with were also doing sets of The Beatles, Coldplay, Avril Lavigne and Britney. Craziness.

My personal favourite? Brokencyde performing a Crunk'd set.
