I've been seeing Santogold's name on a few posters, remixes and the like recently and noticed that she's being called Santigold these days.
Isn't the internet brilliant - one quick google entry later and I found the answer that explains this mysterious name change. Legal issues apparently. Read the full story here.
P.S. You may notice that the story in the link above is particularly annoying for me for two reasons. One, it's from the Guardian, which is my newspaper of choice, so I'm irked that I missed this somehow, and secondly, it's dated February, which means I'm so enormously behind the times that I'm practically retro. WTF.
