While on the Pitchfork website, I came across this, and anything with Girl Talk's name on it gets my full attention. Girl Talk was the subject of my very first post, so he has a special place in my heart for that reason alone, as well as for his brilliant mash-up mixes.
And it's mash-ups that are the background for this video, which you can take in one of two ways. You can either just enjoy some of the cool footage of GT performing live, or you can listen to the arguments about copyright infringement and get your head around that. You don't need to watch the video below to know which side of the copyright law Girl Talk and the film makers sit on. This is the first in a whole series of films, all on the same subject.
