I picked up the new Finders Keepers album the other day, and it's a mix of a lot of their releases by a DJ called The Gaslamp Killer. The record's awesome, as I would expect from such a fine record label, but when I was tracking the CD down in HMV*, the guy who pointed me in the right direction was enthusing about how good live Gaslamp was. So I've had a look at a couple of videos online, and mad, if I was a proper DJ, and not just someone who thinks he can put a couple of good songs next to each other, this is exactly how I'd like to entertain a crowd.
* And isn't this a nice instance of someone in a major record store knowing their stuff?
