BBC Sound Poll 2010

It's that time of year when the BBC put together their Sound Poll - the list of ones to watch for the forthcoming year. Check it out on their website here.



They have a good track record of predicting the big hitters, and Adele, Mika and Little Boots have all come top of the poll in recent years (they put the longlist above into a top 10 order). So start checking out the acts now - my personal tips are The Drums, who I've written about a lot before, Marina and The Diamonds, and Daisy Dares You, who will be a new popstar proper, definitely. And Delphic too. Oh, and Ellie Goulding has the weight of Polydor behind her, so she'll be massive.

Right, I'm off to find out more about Everything Everything, Giggs, Devlin and Joy Orbison, all of whom I've heard of but need to know more...
