Over the summer, Global Cool was again at a bunch of festivals, interviewing bands backstage about the fun stuff they get up to on buses and trains - it's all a rather clever way of making public transport more appealing to people who won't be inspired to use it just for environmental reasons.
I wasn't at most of the festivals that we did this summer (V, Summer Sundae, Beach Break Live) but I did go to Field Day, which I remember as being pretty good, especially headliners Phoenix. But the Global Cool team spoke to Groove Armada, The Magic Numbers, The Leisure Society, Frightened Rabbit, Local Natives, Caribou, Stornoway, Tiffany Page, and below, Lightspeed Champion.
