If you've never had a poke around the Beck website before, it's well worth a few minutes (or hours, more likely) of your time. Apart from the usual videos and music, they've just added a new section where Beck interviews other artists. First up is Tom Waits, and the section is called Irrelevant Topics. Check out the full interview here, and it's a rambling, conversational interview that touches on a bunch of topics like hot dogs, playing gigs outdoors, and growing up in Los Angeles. Check it out.
Also on Beck.com, you can find a few videos from a series in which he and a collection of friends perform some classic tracks. There's only one up so far, The Velvet Underground & Nico, so I don't know what's to follow, but they're nicely shot videos and different takes on some well known tracks. Click here for the full selection and below if my favourite. Beck's studio-mates include Beck and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and Beck's brother-in-law, the actor Giovanni Ribisi.
